MP-5D 5-GALLON

Chem-Trend® MP-5D is a semi-permanent, solvent-based product formulated to adhere to the mold surface at room temperature. Chem-Trend® MP-5D is recommended for use on clean molds to protect them from rust and fouling. Chem-Trend® MP-5D is also recognized as a semipermanent release agent.

• Can be applied to either a hot or a cold mold, but will cure if applied to a mold at the molding temperature and achieve the maximum mold protection
• Should be applied to a clean mold. We recommend an initial bead blasting followed by a solvent wipe.
• Use spray equipment and hold spray tip approximately 12 inches/31cm from the surface of the mold.
• Use a light, even spray when using spray methods. When wiping, apply thin, even coats.
